Rapture

The sound of a pride of lions roaring in the glow of sunset is primal, it reverberates through your chest and every fibre in your body tingles with a slight subconscious primeval fear. Once this male had finished calling he came down to drink, only just visible in the last light after sunset. Something clearly captured his attention, and I’m glad it wasn’t me, before the whole pride sauntered into the bush to begin an evening of hunting.

Prints are produced in laboratory conditions with light rather than ink, which gives them a wider range of colour and depth unrivalled by anything else available. Prints are numbered and hand-signed, along with a certificate of authenticity.

Charity

The charity you are helping to support when purchasing this print is the Ewaso Lions. Ewaso Lions is dedicated to conserving lions and other large carnivores by promoting coexistence between people and wildlife. They are an independent 100% African wildlife conservation organisation which engages and builds the capacity of key demographic groups (warriors, women, elders and children) by developing approaches to reduce human-carnivore conflict.

Sizing

As examples of my best work all limited editions are only available in large sizes. The sizes stated refer to the longest side of the print, with the total print size varying slightly depending on image dimensions, but always include a large white border around the print where the edition number and signature will be. The white border will aid with mounting and displaying the print, and leaves it to the discretion of the buyer if they would like the signature and number on display or not. Just 5 of each size are available so are truly limited edition. Exact size of the print will be provided on purchase to help selecting a frame.

All images are printed on smooth matte paper.
