There was a moment of realisation, scanning around our safari vehicle and seeing a pair of eyes locked onto you. The intensity of that stare is primal, a feeling of being very vulnerable despite the barrier of the 3-tonne vehicle between me and the lioness. I just love the framing of her face amongst the vegetation - generating a sense of depth to an otherwise flat scene.

Ewaso Lions is dedicated to conserving lions and other large carnivores by promoting coexistence between people and wildlife. They are an independent 100% African wildlife conservation organisation which engages and builds the capacity of key demographic groups (warriors, women, elders and children) by developing approaches to reduce human-carnivore conflict.
Sizing
As examples of my best work all limited editions are only available in large sizes. The sizes stated refer to the longest side of the print, with the total print size varying slightly depending on image dimensions, but always include a large white border around the print where the edition number and signature will be. The white border will aid with mounting and displaying the print, and leaves it to the discretion of the buyer if they would like the signature and number on display or not. Just 5 of each size are available so are truly limited edition. Exact size of the print will be provided on purchase to help selecting a frame.
