Slumber
📍- Otter, Scotland
Usually I photograph otters with a large telephoto lens such as 500mm or even 800mm to ensure I don’t have to get too close. However, on this particular day all I had with me with was a 70-200mm and my skills in stalking wildlife. My ultimate aim with any wildlife encounter is to ensure that the animal is left undisturbed and to go about its daily routine with no impact. With that in mind I was reluctant to get too close still to this resting and sleeping otter and this final image is a relatively large crop, from a fortunately very large sensor camera.

As examples of my best work all limited editions are only available in large sizes. The sizes stated refer to the longest side of the print, with the total print size varying slightly depending on image dimensions, but always include a large white border around the print where the edition number and signature will be. The white border will aid with mounting and displaying the print, and leaves it to the discretion of the buyer if they would like the signature and number on display or not. Just 5 of each size are available so are truly limited edition. Exact size of the print will be provided on purchase to help selecting a frame.
